Children, Juniors, and Youth

"For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my pertition which I asked of him: Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there."

Our children are our greatest responsibility, and at Quioccasin we make every effort to educate them in the word of God. Further, the congregation focuses on the developmental stages of children as they become a junior, youth and teenager. These experiences help them to glorify God by guiding every child into maturity in God's word and fellowship with one another.

Quioccasin programs for children though teenages include:

  • Bible School classes for infants through teenagers, with lessons from the Old and New Testaments and applications to our lives today.

  • In Children's Church, experiences have a different focus each Sunday, which includes: 1st Sunday (The Bible), 2nd Sunday (Music & Poetry, 3rd Sunday (Arts & Crafts), 4th Sunday (Audio Visuals: Film & Video), 5th Sunday (Bible Games). These experiences are designed for children age 5-8. They are provided during the regular Sundy morning service, which starts at 10:55 a.m., with the exception of special days - i.e., Homecomming, Church Anniversary, etc.

  • In Children's Music Ministry, children have an opportunity to participate in three age appropriate choirs. These include: Cherubim, Junior, and Youth.

  • Programs designed for teenagers help them understand and strive to pattern their lives after Paul's cammand to Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:12.
